WavWatch Stress Phase II — Key Information
You are being invited to join a 35-day research study evaluating whether regular WAVwatch use is associated with changes in perceived stress. WAVwatch may help, have no measurable effect, or be associated with worse outcomes.
What you will do: For the first 7 days, do not begin the study WAVwatch stress protocol. Complete one very short daily stress check-in. At the end of that week, complete stress and anxiety questionnaires. You will then use the WAVwatch Stress & Relief Program once daily for 64 minutes for 28 days and complete one brief daily stress/adherence check-in. At the end, you will repeat the stress and anxiety questionnaires.
Cost: The study cost is $597 and includes the WAVwatch product associated with participation. Payment does not guarantee benefit or a positive study result.
Risks: Research on WAVwatch remains limited. Possible issues include skin irritation or sensitivity, discomfort from sound or vibration, headache, frustration with use, or worsening of symptoms. There may be risks that are unknown. Stop the intervention and seek appropriate care if you experience severe or concerning symptoms. Efforia does not provide emergency medical care.
Mental health: This study is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are in crisis or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, seek immediate local help or call/text 988 in the United States.

Alternatives: You do not have to participate. You may choose not to use WAVwatch or may use it outside the study.
Voluntary participation: Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time. Withdrawing will not affect your legal rights.
